Mlynek / Mylenek Family Genealogy - 2004 Correspondence
- MESSAGE: December 17, 2004" "Hello Dennis,
Thank you for the email and history of your family. I will be in touch
with more information about my side of the Mlynek family tree as
I know it. Please do not think I have forgotten you by any delay. I am
at my last day of my current job today and start a new job on Monday.
Here is a starting point. Most of my family tree seems to have migrated from Europe to Fall River, MA. I have my mothers maiden name (Mlynek) Her father (my grandfather) was Alois (Skipper) Mlynek. His brothers were Victor Mlynek & Joseph Mlynek. There was a sister who died in 2000? I will provide the name and obituary later. Look up online. Google (Mlynek) obituaries. I will provide details later on. Good health and Happy Holidays!" Alan Scott Mlynek scott.mlynek@cox.net

Mlynek / Mylenek Family Genealogy - 2003 Correspondence
- MESSAGE: August 11,
2003 "Looking to see if there is any relation. just getting started but
did receive a letter some years back from you. We are of the Wisconsin and
Montana Mlynek's. The farthest back I can go is to Vincent
Mlynek who it has been said that out of his two marriages that he had a
total of 16 children spread out over almost three decades. He never did tell
anyone where he was from, not even his wife or children. He would only
comment that he was from the steppes of Poland. He was father to Peter
Mlynek, Father to Chester Joseph, father to Gary Joseph,
Father to Andrew Peter (me), Father to Peter Joseph,
Alexander Jacob, and Eliciana Catherine. If you might have
info to help or share it would be greatly appreciated." Andrew P.

Britain where my father lived after World War Two. He was born in 1913 in
Lodz, Poland. Please email if you would like more info on my family
tree." Andrew Mlynek a.mlynek@ntlworld.com
- MESSAGE: March 23,
2003 "Dennis, Just found your new web site. Looks great...Have not found
much in my search, only more questions. I have figured out the Mary
(Uher) Mlynek did have a brother Fred. I will send you an updated
tree soon.
Also, I found all of the Mylenek (Mlynek) family on the 1910, 1020 and 1930 census. It took a lot of time. I found all on the 1910 and on the 1920 and 1930 I found all but Ethel. Still waiting for some new leads.
I have a subscription to Ancestry.com but when I print the census they do not come out real good. Any suggestions? Talk to you soon." Carrie Gamrat (nee. Mylenek)
REPLY:
Carrie, I just added the Scarbro / Carlisle / Whipple & Oak Hill website. I do have a few photos and documents I will add this week. See http://www.scarbrowv.com I was thinking of you last week. We haven't corresponded for awhile. Have you found any old photos dated in the early 1900's, 1910's or 1920's? Which site are you using for the Census images? I use Ancestry.com. I have a subscription. If you provide me with the Roll # and Page #'s I can download the images. They are fairly good. Your Cousin, Dennis Chadra artlover@chadra.com
