This website was created in 2000 to focus on the visual arts and originally was based on the artwork of Dennis Chadra now located at http://www.dennischadra.com.  Visual art links were added to compliment the art studio pages.

  • Naperville Art League: The Naperville Art League located in Naperville, Illinois offers art classes and art gallery.  They also sponsor the annual Riverwalk Art Fair held every September at Naperville's Riverwalk. Details at the web site.
     
  • Fechin Art Workshop: The Donner Ranch is host to the Fechin Art Workshops. Informative art instructors provide high quality classes, limited to 14-20 students. Painting (in all media), drawing and sculpture are offered to all levels. Your base will be the Donner Ranch (18 miles North of Taos) and all classes meet in our spacious art studio and/or on location. The Ranch offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the creative process, free from outside distraction.
     

  • Liliedahl Fine Art Studio/Gallery: An oil painter greatly influenced by the 18th and 19th century Realists, Johnnie Liliedahl brings an old world, multi-layered look to her paintings. Her style is a unique blend of traditional, academic studio techniques with modern plein-air color and paint application. Johnnie is a full-time painter, muralist and enthusiastic teacher. She conducts an annual schedule of workshops for art groups in the United States, Canada and Europe.
     

  • Fredericksburg Artists School: Located near Fredericksburg, Texas Fredericksburg Artists' School is committed to providing a quality teaching experience by having nationally, and in some cases internationally, known professional artists teach.
     

  • The Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts: The mission of The Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts is to foster growth in the visual arts, provide a place for serious artists to work, and enrich the community with programs of art education, appreciation and exhibitions. The founding members were evening students at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1895. They wanted to paint from the model under daylight, which was rather difficult since most of them worked six days a week and the Art Institute did not offer Sunday programs.
